Local and Regional Support for a Nationwide Service

IndEX is a national platform, but its strength lies in its regional delivery model. Twelve regional hubs form the backbone of this structure, maintaining consistency nationwide while being responsive to local industries, education priorities, and community needs.

Each hub is hosted by a designated educational establishment with the infrastructure and expertise to deliver both strategic leadership and operational support. Hubs coordinate employer engagement, provide CPD for educators and industry partners, and assure the quality and impact of activities across their region.

At the institutional level, every participating school or business appoints an IndEX Link, a trained individual responsible for embedding employer engagement into practice, coordinating activity, and acting as the local expert.

Supported by their regional hub, the IndEX Link ensures that engagement is consistent, meaningful, and quality assured.

The IndEX Link will:

• Champion the platform internally to drive awareness and engagement.

• Support colleagues in embedding industry–education engagement into curriculum and outreach.

• Act as the local expert for navigating and maximising the platform’s impact.

• Coordinate and quality assure all activities arranged through IndEX.

With access to the platform’s AI capabilities, the IndEX Link can generate high-quality resources such as presentations, project briefs, and lesson materials. This reduces preparation time and workload while enabling interactive, impactful experiences.
